The MTL is patented technology licensed by Frytech Technology. This kit is compatible with Bore Buddy trip bars and trigger kickers. Built to run Rare Breed, Disruptor, Super Safety, and other trip-style limiters — plus traditional full-auto fire control groups — without a tungsten weight kit. Saves hundreds compared with outdated mass-and-spring setups.
Required hardware
This kit requires Bore Buddy Anti-Bounce Weight, .22 LR AR conversion, product #22BA49D. Do not run the MTL kit without that weight installed.
The problem
Most companies stop bolt bounce by stacking extra mass and spring tension until the timing happens to line up. That works. It is also expensive, adds reciprocating weight, and still takes a lot of trial and error.
How this kit works
Most aftermarket conversion bolts are ferrous, so they respond to a magnet. The MTL kit uses a tailored magnet and spring to gently catch and slow the bolt carrier on the rearward stroke. That brief delay drops cyclic rate just enough for the bolt to lock cleanly on the return, instead of bouncing off the rear of the buffer tube.
Smoother lockup. Less bolt bounce. No aftermarket tungsten weights or specialty springs.
Trip-limiter ready
Runs with Rare Breed, Disruptor, Super Safety, and other trip-style limiters, and with traditional full-auto fire control groups. Same kit either way.
Bore Buddy trip bars
Designed to work with Bore Buddy trip bars and trigger kickers. Pair it with the required CMMG #22BA49D anti-bounce weight and keep the rest of the conversion stock.
Magnet, not mass
A ferrous conversion bolt gets a short magnetic catch on the way back. Timing comes from that pause — not from a heavier carrier and a stiffer spring.
Shim tuning
A few shims are included so you can change the magnet-to-bolt gap and set pull strength to your rifle, bolt, and fire-control setup.

Confirm the conversion bolt is ferrous and that CMMG #22BA49D (NOT INCLUDED) is installed before first live fire. Shim the magnet gap to the individual rifle — do not assume one gap works across every bolt and limiter combination.
