The upper fitment is very precise in my opinion. The lower and upper do not easily come apart when joined, even without the pivot and takedown pins in place. Definitely a step up in building vs a unmatched set. While this build is ongoing due to a barrel fitment problem, most likely due to inconsistency in standards for parts and platform. I have been pleased with every aspect of this upper. From the finish, to it’s fitment with the lower, I would highly recommend this product.
